We Locate People is a new company built on over 10 years of hands-on experience in the people tracing industry. Our founder has worked as a researcher, consultant and general manager, bringing real knowledge, practical experience and a clear understanding of what clients need when they are trying to find somebody important.
We understand that people do not usually come to a tracing service lightly. In many cases, they have been searching for answers for years. For some, it is about reconnecting with a family member, old friend or former colleague. For others, it is about resolving an estate matter, tracing a tenant, or moving a personal or professional issue forward. MEET THE FOUNDER.
We Locate People was founded by Jake Birchall, a people tracing professional with over 10 years of industry experience.
Jake has over 10 years of people tracing industry experience, having progressed through senior roles including Researcher, Research Consultant and ultimately General Manager. This gave him extensive hands-on experience in tracing people, managing sensitive cases, leading teams, and helping clients find answers in situations that were often personal and emotional.
During his time in the industry, Jake also worked on the BBC TV programme Family Finders, gaining further experience in family tracing and reconnection cases.
After spending more than a decade in the people tracing sector, Jake founded We Locate People to offer a professional, sensitive and straightforward tracing service for people looking to find family members, old friends, former colleagues, beneficiaries and former tenants across the UK.
Jake understands that every search has a story behind it. Some people are looking for answers, some want to reconnect, and others simply want clarity about someone from their past. That is why We Locate People was built around a clear process, honest communication and a respectful approach to every case.
